All set for the big game: Kohli calls World Cup 2019 the most challenging of all
The Indian captain finds the format this time a challenge.

At the press conference, a composed Kohli, along with coach Ravi Shastri, spoke about India’s chances at the 10-team tournament, pitch and weather conditions in Britain, and related matters. This will be the first World Cup to be played as per a round-robin format since 1992. Each team plays the other nine teams once and the top four will qualify for the semi-finals.

“Personally, I think this is probably the most challenging World Cup of all that I’ve been part of, because of the format,” Kohli said. Shastri said that while most of the pitches would be flat, overcast conditions in different parts of Britain would play a role.
