Sara Ali Khan on her marriage plans
In a recent interview with News18, the actress opened up about her thoughts on marriage, relationships and finding the right life partner. Sara admitted that her personal experiences and the relationships she has observed around her have shaped the way she looks at marriage today.According to the actress, she has seen that marriages do not always work out the way people expect. Sara shared that people are often influenced by what they witness in life, and she too has learned from the experiences around her. She said it is better to wait patiently and marry the right person instead of rushing into a relationship because of pressure or expectations.
The actress also made it clear that she does not believe marriage should happen simply for the sake of completing someone’s life. Sara explained that she already feels emotionally complete on her own and does not think another person should be responsible for filling a void within her.
Talking about her current priorities, Sara revealed that she is focusing on self-growth and her career at this stage of life. The actress said she wants to become a complete person independently before entering a serious relationship. According to her, if the right person comes into her life naturally, then things will happen at the right time.
What kind of partner Sara wants in her life
Sara also shared what she looks for in a future partner. Instead of searching for someone to “fix” or “complete” her, she hopes, "I want to be a complete human being within myself. And then if I find somebody to celebrate me, cherish me and make me feel even better, that’s fine. Looking for this missing piece in you in somebody else isn’t a sustainable thing. You shouldn’t do that. And right now, I want to work."The actress further explained that rushing into relationships is never a good idea. Referring to the popular saying “jaldi ka kaam shaitaan ka hota hai,” Sara hinted that patience is important when it comes to choosing a life partner. She added that she prefers allowing things to happen naturally rather than forcing them.
During the conversation, Sara was also asked if she thinks she could ever be a “red flag” in a relationship. Responding humorously, the actress admitted that she sometimes gets trapped inside her own thoughts, but she believes that mostly affects her personally rather than hurting others. Apart from that, she jokingly described herself as a “green flag.”
Sara’s honest views on marriage have now caught the attention of fans online, especially because many people found her perspective mature and relatable.
