After ‘respect to farmers’ post, Salman Khan trolled for rice plantation video, Twitter calls it ‘damage control’

Megastar Salman Khan has been living at his lush green Panvel farmhouse ever since the lockdown began and has been sharing videos and pictures of himself farming. After his ‘respect to farmers’ post hit a wrong note with the netizens, on Monday, the actor took to Twitter to share a 59-second video of him ploughing the paddy fields with the help of a tractor.
The video shows Khan helming the tractor and using it on muddy land as a helper sits beside him. The superstar captioned the video ‘Farminggg’.

Today, Khan shared a 44-second video on his Twitter which showed him planting rice in the field. ‘Rice plantation done..,’ Khan captioned the video.
Much like Khan’s previous post, the videos also seemed to have hit a wrong note with some Twitter users calling the video ‘damage control’ as his ‘respect to farmers’ post backfired.

Another Twitter user wrote, “Omg! #SalmanKhan on the wheels again!! God save the destitute farmers.”
‘Sharing videos like this to try and make yourself the good guy doesn't make u a good guy,’ opined another netizen.
Some Twitter users called the video a ‘PR stunt’ by Khan to clean his image in the eyes of the public.
Some Twitterati felt that the video is an ‘insult to farmers’.
