After people vote him out, Elon Musk says he will resign as Twitter CEO but there's a catch
Over 17 million votes were cast in the poll, which began on Sunday evening.

The 51-year-old recently ran a poll on Twitter where he asked people if he should step down as the company’s boss.
Now that the results of the poll are in, which shows that around 57.5 per cent of Twitter users voted “yes” to him quitting as the Twitter boss, Musk promised people that he’ll hand over his resignation as soon as he finds someone “foolish enough to take the job”.
"I will resign as CEO as soon as I find someone foolish enough to take the job. After that, I will just run the software and servers teams," Musk tweeted on Tuesday.

Over 17 million votes were cast in the poll, which began on Sunday evening on Twitter and ended early on Monday morning with most respondents voting in the affirmative to Musk’s question of stepping down as the CEO of Twitter.
"As the saying goes, be careful what you wish, as you might get it," Musk added in another tweet.
Since buying Twitter for $44 billion and taking over as the new CEO of the microblogging platform in late October ‘22, Musk, who also runs Tesla and SpaceX, has journeyed from one controversy to the next.
