Elon Musk cracks the whip on journalists, suspends Twitter accounts of scribes who tweeted real-time details of his private jet
Numerous US journalists have reported that their accounts have been suspended.

Incidentally, all the journalists who have been banned from the platform have tweeted about Musk’s crackdown on sharing the location details of his private jets. American journalist Taylor Lorenz, who is among the many who have been suspended, took to her Mastodon account to claim that the 51-year-old has begun a crackdown on journalists.
“Musk has begun banning journalists who have criticized him from Twitter including WaPo’s Drew Harwell, NYT’s Ryan Mac and CNN’s Donnie O’Sullivan. My whole timeline is glitched out and people continue to report my tweets so I’m worried I’ll be banned soon too!” wrote Lorenz in her post.
A few hours later, a screenshot of the Mastodon post was shared by a Twitter account identified as Israel 75. Shortly after the screenshot, Musk responded by saying that criticising him all day was fine but deliberately sharing his real-time location and endangering his family was not.
“Criticising me all day long is totally fine, but doxxing my real-time location and endangering my family is not,” Tweeted Musk.
