Vikrant Massey to open 2 cafes in Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh

According to a report by Bollywood Hungama, the construction of both the cafés in Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh is already underway. They are being designed as replicas of the one seen in Musafir Cafe.

Much like in the show, Vikrant Massey’s upcoming ventures will also have 20 rooms for artist residencies. ‘It is an extension of the world of Musafir Cafe beyond the screen,’ shared the source.

All about Musafir Cafe

Vikrant Massey played the role of Chander in Musafir Cafe, who meets Sudha (Vedika Pinto) through a matrimonial app. Sudha, although not ready to get married, falls for Chander, leading to a passionate yet tumultuous relationship that ultimately comes to a chaotic end.

Later on, Chander fulfills his dream of opening Musafir Cafe in Mussoorie, which he runs with his current partner, Preeti (Mahima Makwana). But things get complicated when Sudha visits the cafe one day unannounced. In short, Musafir Cafe revolves around the complexity of human emotions and the power of having difficult conversations.

Real life Musafir Cafe

Musafir Cafe is not just a fictional coffee shop but exists in real life in the dreamy hills of Mussoorie. The place is a part of Jharipani Castle, a heritage property, located at Patiala House, near the famous Oak Grove School. It is also open to visitors and tourists.
