Adarsh Baal Vidyalaya OTT release date: When and where to watch Archana Puran Singh, Kay Kay Menon's comedy drama

A school struggling with everyday challenges, a headmaster determined to create change, and a group of larger-than-life characters form the heart of Adarsh Baal Vidyalaya, an upcoming comedy-drama series led by Kay Kay Menon. The seven-episode show explores themes of hope, resilience, and community while highlighting how determination can bring transformation even in difficult circumstances.

Directed by Himank Gaur, the series revolves around a headmaster who attempts to improve his school despite limited resources and constant obstacles. Set inside Adarsh Baal Vidyalaya, the show presents an institution where unconventional methods and unique personalities shape everyday life.

The trailer introduces viewers to Gyaneshwar Tripathi, played by Kay Kay Menon, a laid-back principal whose quick thinking and unusual approach help the school navigate challenges. While he may not fit the traditional image of a strict headmaster, his sharp instincts and ability to handle unpredictable situations keep the school moving forward.


The story takes an interesting turn when Gyaneshwar discovers that headmasters of the 10 Delhi schools with the best board examination results will receive an opportunity to participate in a government-sponsored training programme in Cambridge. The competition pushes him to find new ways to bring success to his school.

Apart from Kay Kay Menon, the series features Archana Puran Singh, Abhimanyu Singh, Naveen Kasturia, Prasanna Bisht, Deven Bhojani, Ajitesh Gupta, Annapurna Soni, and Prachee Shah in important roles.

Speaking about his role as Gyaneshwar Tripathi, Kay Kay Menon said that portraying a headmaster was a completely new experience for him. He shared that he has previously played a wide range of characters, including intelligence officers, politicians, and criminals, but had never taken on the role of a headmaster before.


Menon explained that what attracted him to the character was Gyaneshwar's relatable nature. He described the character as someone who is imperfect and flawed but also intelligent, observant, and capable of using situations to his advantage.

Archana Puran Singh, who plays Urmila Devi, said the writing and depth of her character made the project special. She described Urmila Devi as bold, outspoken, fiercely ambitious, and unapologetic, making the role an exciting experience for her.

The series has been written by Biswapati Sarkar, Akshay Asthana, Nupur Pai, Tatsat Pandey, and Meghna Srivastava. Combining humour with emotional moments, Adarsh Baal Vidyalaya aims to portray the struggles and strengths of an overlooked educational institution while celebrating perseverance and hope.
