Anushka Sharma who made her big-screen debut with none other than Shah Rukh Khan in a YRF film was bound to go places. Not only does she light up the screen with her larger-than-life performances, she dons multiple hats of being an entrepreneur, and someone who cares deeply about the environment.

After debuting in 2008 with 'Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi', and with multiple films to her credit, she has proved her mettle as an actress. But just acting in films was not enough for her. Her hunger to do more, achieve more and establish herself as more than just an actress led her to start her own production house, Clean Slate Films, in partnership with her brother Karnesh Sharma.

Launched in 2014, Clean Slate Films debuted with 'NH 10' which fared average at the box-office. In 2017 their second production, 'Phillauri' saw the light of the day and did brisk business. In early 2018, audiences saw 'Pari' which had a novel concept and depicted a fresh take in the thriller, horror genre.

And, just when you thought Sharma was juggling too many hats and was content with what she was doing, she surprised fans and the industry alike by launching her own fashion line aptly named NUSH in October 2017. The actress, often appreciated for her own personal style, wanted to bring something to the market which was fashionable yet affordable. Vibrant colours, breezy cuts, peppy prints and not high-maintenance, the entrepreneur-actress wanted to ensure that her brand was easy on the pocket.
Sharma is not just an entrepreneur but she is a responsible citizen as well. While fans are still raving about the grand Italian wedding, what really caught everyone's attention was the eco-friendly invitation that the couple sent out. Keeping everything classy as usual their pastel, floral-printed invite had a sapling each with them. This clearly conveyed the message to all invitees how much Sharma and Kohli care about planet Earth and want to make others aware as well.
Taking a look at her Instagram handle gives a sneak peek into Anushka Sharma, the animal lover. Just like her, Sharma's pet dog, a golden labrador who is lovingly called Dude is also an achiever. Recently, he became a blood donor and got the opportunity to save the life of another dog. Sharma's passion towards animal welfare reflects in every aspect of her work.

Mrs Kohli wore a 'jazzed up' smokey-grey lehenga with hand-beaten silver thread, textured sequins and cut organza flowers on an embroidered tulle base. Her stunning dupatta was made by craftsmen from Lucknow, and was clinched on the waist with a ‘Bengal tiger’ belt. She completed her look with a necklace and earrings hand-crafted with rose cut diamonds, solitaires and briolettes.
