Salman Khan, who is currently hosting Bigg Boss 20, visited Mumbai’s iconic Lalbaugcha Raja pandal on Thursday evening to seek Bappa’s blessings during Ganesh Chaturthi. Several videos from Salman’s visit are being shared online. Alongside these recent visuals, an old clip of the superstar has also resurfaced on social media, and the story he shared in it is certainly worth revisiting.

Salman Khan's old clip resurfaces

The old video is from Salman Khan's appearance on The Great Indian Kapil Sharma Show. During the episode, the actor recalled an unusual incident from his family home involving a man who stayed with them for almost a week.

Salman narrated the story in his witty style, explaining how a party had taken place at his house and several friends stayed back afterwards. However, one person who remained at the house was not someone the Khan family immediately recognised.

According to Salman, everyone simply assumed that the man was a friend of someone in the group. Since there was already a gathering at the house, nobody stopped to ask him who he was or how he was connected to the family.

The situation continued for days until the family eventually realised that the same person had been around for nearly a week.

Salman, Arbaaz and Sohail wondered who he was

Salman recalled that the mystery came up during a meal. The man was sitting at the dining table when he began commenting on the food. He apparently remarked that the meat dish could have been made differently and that it had a little too much chilli.

That was when Salman began wondering who exactly the man was.

The actor said he first looked at his brother Arbaaz Khan, seemingly asking without words who the person was. He then looked at his other brother, Sohail Khan. The three brothers eventually looked towards their sister Alvira Khan Agnihotri, before even their parents became part of the confused exchange.

It was then that the family decided they could no longer ignore the obvious question.

Salman recalled asking the man who he was, pointing out that they had been seeing him around the house for nearly a week. The funny part, according to the actor, was that everyone had been operating under the same assumption — that he must belong to someone else in the group.

Why did the stranger stay at the Khan home?

The man's explanation made the entire incident even more amusing.

As recalled by Salman, the man said that he had arrived at the house with the others during the party. When the group decided to stay back, he stayed too. But instead of leaving after the gathering ended, he continued to remain at the Khan residence.

His reason was surprisingly simple. He reportedly, "Mujhe is ghar ka mahaul kaafi achaa laga, felt like family, so I stayed back."

(He told the family that he liked the atmosphere of their home and felt comfortable there. Since the environment made him feel like he was with his own family, he decided to stay.)

The anecdote has now resurfaced alongside videos of Salman celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi with his family.

Salman has been participating in the festival celebrations this year as well. He visited his brother Sohail Khan's residence in Bandra and joined his family for the traditional Ganpati aarti. He was also seen taking part in Ganpati Visarjan with his family.

What is Salman Khan's next film?

On the professional front, Salman Khan has several projects in the pipeline. One of his upcoming films is Maatrubhumi, directed by Apoorva Lakhia.

The film is being described as a patriotic war drama based on the 2020 Galwan Valley conflict. Salman is set to play a high-ranking military officer in the project.

Meanwhile, Salman continues to host Bigg Boss 20, which has once again brought the actor into the spotlight through his weekly appearances on the reality show.
