Ranveer Singh visits Lalbaugcha Raja
Ranveer Singh marked Ganesh Chaturthi by visiting Mumbai's famous Lalbaugcha Raja pandal. The actor sought blessings for his family and the journey ahead before announcing his contribution to the education initiative.Speaking to News18 after his visit, Ranveer said he was happy to be at the pandal and expressed gratitude for the year gone by. He said that, with Bappa's blessings, the past year had been a happy one for him and his family. His visit, he added, was also about thanking Lord Ganesha and seeking blessings for the future.
The actor then announced that he would join the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan and support the education of 1,000 girls. Ranveer connected the pledge with both Ganesh Chaturthi and PM Modi's birthday, expressing hope that the initiative would receive Bappa's blessings.

Alia Bhatt also marked PM Modi's birthday with a social media post. Along with wishing the Prime Minister good health and a fulfilling year ahead, she announced a commitment made by her and husband Ranbir Kapoor.According to Alia's post, the couple will support the Seva Sankalp Abhiyaan by pledging to refurbish 20 schools. She said the schools would be selected based on recommendations from the BMC. The stated aim is to help create better-equipped spaces where children can learn and grow.
Alia described the campaign as an example of collective action and giving back. Rather than simply marking the occasion with a birthday message, she used the post to announce the couple's contribution to improving school infrastructure.

The celebrity messages came as the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan was being rolled out. BJP National President Nitin Nabin had announced on September 9 that the Prime Minister would complete 25 years of public service on October 7. The party subsequently planned a month-long campaign around the milestone.
