4.8K units of Nothing ear (1) sold out within 2 minutes of pre-order booking

Within 2 minutes of its first official pre-order booking on Tuesday, around 4,800 units of Nothing ear (1) sold out on Flipkart.

The rapid pre-order booking makes Ear (1) the fastest-selling premium earbuds.

OnePlus Founder Carl Pei, who parted ways from the smartphone company and launched Nothing in January 2021, took to Twitter to thank the Indian fans for their support. "Hang tight, we're working around the clock to make more...," he wrote.


Meanwhile, one of the Twitter users shared a concern with Pei. In his tweet, he said, too much time gap between the announcement of the product and its availability for sale to delivery waters down the excitement.

The product was launched on July 27, and the pre-booking started on Tuesday.

Pei immediately took the user's feedback for the future launches. "Heard this more than once, and it wasn't done on purpose," he said.


Nothing team is expected to announce the next sale date very soon.
