3D rangoli, children depicting Maa Durga & more: Anand Mahindra's Twitter feed gets festive

NEW DELHI: Festivities have taken over Anand Mahindra's Twitter account. The Mahindra Group Chairman has been sharing videos of creative 'rangoli', army officials performing 'garba', and the depiction of Goddess Durga by government school children.

On Monday, the 64-year-old businessman shared a 32-second long video of a 3D rangoli, which appeared like a festive thali. In his tweet, he wrote, "I certainly got fooled by the startling real-life appearance of this ‘rangoli’". He took this opportunity to share an inspirational message along with this video - 'we need to build our aspirations on solid foundations or else someone will steal our lunch'.



On Sunday, the business tycoon wished his followers with a picture posted by Manoj Kumar, CEO of Naandi Foundation. Kumar, in his post, shared an image of government school children depicting Goddess Durga. Mahindra agreed with Kumar, and said it was 'superior (compared) to the largest and most dramatic pandals' he'd ever seen. "Children will always triumph when it comes to matters of the human spirit," he emphasised.


A day before, on Maha Ashtami, the conglomerate treated his fans with a video of Army men performing garba. His tweet read, "Here’s one (video) that gets my salute... No need to ask how the Josh is!".

During the weekend, Mahindra had also shared a 9-second video of two men performing dandiya. He said that seem them perform got him exhausted. "Had to go and lie down after that," he added.


Mahindra, who is an avid Twitter user, has over 7 million followers on Twitter.
