Chickpea wrap: How to make

To prepare the crunchy chickpea wrap at home, first lightly spray a non-stick pan with oil and add half of the boiled chickpeas. Sprinkle one teaspoon of peri peri masala over the chickpeas and roast them for about 5 to 6 minutes, ensuring they become fully coated, fragrant, and delightfully crunchy.

Next, place the remaining boiled chickpeas into a mixing bowl along with Skyr, fresh avocado, and finely chopped onion. Add approximately one tablespoon of Sriracha, a pinch of salt, and freshly cracked black pepper, then mash all the ingredients together until a smooth, creamy chickpea dressing forms.

Afterward, lightly warm a whole-wheat tortilla in a pan to make it pliable. Lay down a bed of crisp lettuce on the tortilla, spread the creamy chickpea mixture evenly over the greens, and layer on fresh cucumber ribbons and sliced tomatoes. Finally, top the wrap with the warm, crunchy peri peri chickpeas before folding or rolling the tortilla tightly to serve.
