Job-discovery and online interviewing portal ePoise launched an app, enabling taking interviews on a mobile phone

BENGALURU: Bengaluru-based HR startup ePoise has launched an app that allows them to take job interviews on their mobile phones.

The startup allows users to browse through jobs listed on it and apply instantly, specifying their availability for interviews. Users can also take an immediate interview, which is recorded, to be reviewed by the firm later.

These facilities will now be available on the mobile phone and the video interview will be recorded through the phone’s front-camera.

Founded in 2013 by London Business School-alumni Sachin Agrawal and Bishan Singh, ePoise received about half a million US dollars (over 3 Crores) in funding from Orios Venture Partners in March.

“Typically, there is an 80% rejection rate in first round interviews and scheduling is always a challenge. In the entire process, one can well imagine how much of time, effort and money gets wasted. The ePoise Job Interviews app addresses all these issues, and in addition helps companies find and engage with talent,” co-founder Sachin Agrawal said. The platform, is used by over 100 startups, including Ola, Flipkart, Mindtree, Redbus, Limeroad, Siemens, Swiggy, apigee, Bookmyshow, Zivame and Bankbazaar, for lateral, as well as campus hiring.

The android app, which was launched on Tuesday, has got over 1500 downloads. The company said an iOS app will be released soon.
