IIT BHU students receive 396 job offers including PPOs

NEW DELHI: Students at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) BHU have received 396 job offers including 179 pre-placement offers in the placement season that started on December 1. Until late night Day 1, 30 companies had visited IIT BHU for recruitment drive offering 217 jobs with pay packages ranging from Rs 11 lakh to Rs 64.3 lakh pa. Last year, the salaries ranged between Rs 10 lakh and Rs 58.21 lakh per annum.

According to the professor in-charge of the training and placement office at IIT BHU, Anil Kumar Agarwal, a total of 1365 students were registered for placement this year.

The companies in the first slot included AppDynamics, Alphonso, Codenation, Flipkart APM, Microsoft, Jaguar, Cisco, Goldman Sachs, Bajaj, Qualcomm, Applied Material, Confluent, Texas Instruments, MindTickle, Nvidia, Oracle, JPMC, Wells Fargo, among others.


Other recruiters who participated on Day 2 of the placement included Sapient, Jio Platform, Paytm, Citrix, Udaan, Socgen, VMware, Edgeverve, BNY, Myntra, SRIB, Deutsche Bank, GE GRC, Razorpay, Chalo, according to a statement shared by the institute.
