SCMS Pune places 96.96% students for academic year 2023-24

Symbiosis Centre for Management Studies (SCMS) Pune on Wednesday announced the placement of 96.96% of its students for the academic year 2023-24.

The highest domestic salary package was Rs 10 lakh per annum, it said in a statement, while average package was Rs 6.58 lakh per annum and median package was Rs 6.90 lakh per annum.

The top 10% of eligible students secured a package of Rs 10 lakh per annum for domestic roles, while the top 25% attained a remuneration of Rs 7.25 lakh per annum, the institute said.


Adya Sharma, director of SCMS Pune, highlighted the institute’s focus on experiential learning programmes, industry-academic collaborations and practical skills development.

The placements encompassed diverse industries, ranging from business processing outsourcing leaders like Accenture to banks such as ICICI Bank, said the statement.

Other companies that offered jobs on the campus included consulting firms such as KPMG, PwC and Deloitte, startups like Ditto Insurance and greentech companies like Panache Green Energy Solutions, said SCMS Pune.
