New Delhi: Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Lucknow on Thursday announced the completion of its summer placement process for the 2024-26 batch with all 576 students of its postgraduate programme (PGP) and PGP in agribusiness management students bagging internship offers.

The highest domestic offer of Rs 3.95-lakh stipend per month was more than double of the best international offer of Rs 1.75 lakh per month.

This year, the average stipend offered was Rs 1.43 lakh per month while the median stipend stood at Rs 1.50 lakh per month, the institute said.


IIM Lucknow’s 2024-26 batch consists of 234 freshers and 342 students with prior work experience across various sectors. This blend of seasoned professionals and fresh talent secured positions in various sectors including consulting, ecommerce, finance, general management, product management, sales and marketing, operations and retail.

Arcesium, Barclays, Bank of New York Mellon, eBay, Essar, GMR Group, Navneet, NIIF, Paytm Money, PepsiCo Agro, Saint Gobain, Sprinklr, Tata Consumer Products, Tesco and Virtusa were some of the new recruiters that participated in the placement process, offering a blend of domestic and international roles.

They were joined by legacy recruiters such as Accenture, Aditya Birla Group, Adobe, Alvarez & Marsal, Amazon, American Express, Bain & Company, Boston Consulting Group, Citi Group, Deloitte, EY, Goldman Sachs, HUL, McKinsey & Company, Procter & Gamble, PwC, and Tata Administrative Services.

“Our unique curriculum, combined with a host of hands-on learning opportunities, empowers our students to grow and develop the skills needed to excel,” said Priyanka Sharma, student affairs and placement chairperson at IIM Lucknow. “As the economy stabilises, we are confident in expanding opportunities further and preparing our students for continued professional success,” she added.

IIM Lucknow opted for a hybrid placement model to offer both offline and online options to provide flexibility and convenience for recruiters and students.
