E&Y to hire 6,500 worldwide including India, China
Accounting giant Ernst & Young is planning to increase its workforce by atleast 6,500 people in FY 2011 across the globe including India and China.
Ernst & Young (E&Y)plans to increase its headcount heavily in the emerging markets by hiring 2,500 in India and China and 2,000 plus in the Middle East & North Africa, it said in a statement.
Besides, the company also plans to hire over a 1,000 people in Africa and more than 1,000 in Russia.
The new recruits would be across all four service lines- -assurance, tax, transactions and advisory.
E&Y earlier announced combined global revenues of USD 21.3 billion for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2010.
