Several trains diverted after rail derailment in Tamil Nadu

The SCR said helpline numbers have also been started to provide information on train services to the public.

HYDERABAD: Several trains have been diverted on Wednesday due to the derailment of Muzaffarpur-Yesvantpur Express train at Sitheri in Tamil Nadu this morning, the South Central Railway ( SCR) said here.

The trains that have been diverted include - 22601 Chennai-Shridi Sai Nagar Express, 12296 Patna-Bangalore Express, 22619 Bilaspur-Tirunelveli Express, 12510 Guwahati-Bangalore Express, 12245 Howrah-Yesvantpur Express and 12507 Ernakulam-Guwahati Express, it said.

The SCR said helpline numbers have also been started to provide information on train services to the public.

The numbers are: Tirupati - 0877-2100220, 0877-2225810, Renigunta - 0877-2100389, 0877-2100300, 09701374833, Vijayawada - 0866-2575038, 0866-2575036, 0866-2576924.
