Another goods train derails in Odisha days after triple train accident, no casualties reported
Days after a crash involving the Coromandel Express and two other trains killed at least 275 people and injured hundreds in Balasore in Odisha, a goods train has derailed in the state.

Several wagons of a goods train carrying limestone have derailed near Sambardhara in Bargarh district.

The train was en route for Bargarh from Dunguri.

No casualty has been reported.

This is the second train derailment within days of the Coromandel crash. Preliminary investigations revealed that a signal error led to the high-speed Coromandel Express to enter an adjacent loop line where it rammed into a freight train loaded with iron ore.

The collision flipped coaches of Coromandel Express onto another track, causing the incoming Yesvantpur-Howrah Express from the opposite side also to derail.
