Urban Ladder appoints Apurva Dalal as chief technology officer

BENGALURU: Online furniture retailer has appointed Apurva Dalal as its chief technology officer.

Dalal, who holds a management degree from University of Dallas, joins Urban Ladder from Komli Media where he was leading the company's technol ogy team. He had earlier worked with Google, eBay and WebMD.

“Apurva's key focus ar eas will be mobile including home solutions and augmented reality solutions for bet ter product visualisation,“ said Rajiv Srivatsa, chief operating officer (COO) at Urban Ladder.

“He will also focus on storefront experience, personalisation and work on internal systems for complete automation to handle scale and data,“ he added.Dalal will report to Srivatsa.

Urban Ladder has a technology team of close to 50 people and the company plans to add another 100 over the next 6 months.
