“We would like to inform you that Rishi Vasudev – CEO of Lifestyle department stores and Home Centre, has decided to move from the company due to personal reasons,” Kabir Lumba, chairman of the board of directors of Lifestyle, said in an email to the company’s staff.
In a WhatsApp message Vasudev has confirmed that he has resigned from Lifestyle and Home Centre on Friday.
Lumba’s email to the company’s staff, that was reviewed by ET, further said that 11th January will be Vasudev’s last working day at Lifestyle even though he would be on the company’s payroll until end of March.
Vasudev, a former CEO of Calvin Klein in India, had joined Lifestyle in June 2020 from Flipkart where he was heading the fashion vertical.
Vasudev’s departure comes barely a month after the Dubai-based retail group said it is elevating Lumba to the chairman of its board of directors of Lifestyle International.
