"The plan is to open 150 Quiznos outlets in the next five years. We will also sub-franchise. Around 15-20 outlets would be operated by the master franchise," Sub-One Hospitality Services CEO Pradeep Sehgal said.
He said the cost of setting up one outlet is estimated to be around Rs 50 lakh.
Launched in Denver in 1981, Quiznos is currently present in 35 countries through more than 4,000 restaurants.
Commenting on Sub-One Hospitality Services' expansion plans, Sehgal said: "We are also engaged in talks with an Australian coffee brand and a Chinese cuisine restaurant chain to bring them into India."
He, however, did not provide details. Sub-One Hospitality Services is the associate company of South Asian Hospitality Services, which operates over 52 restaurants like Nirula's, Rajdhani, Moti Mahal Delux and Tandoori Trail under franchisee agreements.
"Last year, our turnover was Rs 48 crore and in the next three years, we are targeting around Rs 200-250 crore," Sehgal said.
