IIM-B to host conference on business analytics and intelligence

The conference will have delegates comprising of professors, scientists and managers from different academic and research institutes

BENGALURU: The Indian Institute of Management, Bengaluru (IIM-B)'s Data Centre and Analytics Lab (DCAL) will host a Business Analytics and Intelligence Conference from December 17 to 19. In its third edition, the conference will create a platform and facilitate knowledge-sharing on advanced data analysis, business analytics, big data and business intelligence for academicians, practitioners and researchers.

To be held at IIMB campus in Bannerghatta, the conference will see more than 350 participants and 14 plenary talks by speakers from organisations like Accenture, EMC, Flipkart, General Electric, HP and Thomson Reuters, among others. The event would also present over 150 papers on different aspects of analytics, big data and business intelligence. Over 65 per cent of the contributory papers will be from industry participants.

The conference will have delegates comprising of professors, scientists and managers from different academic and research institutes, technology intensive organisations, and public and private multinational corporations.
