Jayshree Sundar leaves Leo Burnett Delhi

Reports from within the ad industry indicate that Leo Burnett president-north Jayshree Sundar, has left the agency.

MUMBAI: Strong reports from within the advertising industry indicate that Leo Burnett president-north Jayshree Sundar, has left the agency.
When contacted, Ms Sundar declined to comment specifically on the issue and fielded all queries to Leo Burnett chairman and managing director Arvind Sharma.

She, however, did not deny the fact that she was leaving the agency. Mr Sharma, on the other hand, had this to say: “I don’t know where these rumours originated and why they have persisted. She’s with us. This is completely unfounded.”

However, other sources closely associated with the agency have confirmed the news of Ms Sundar’s exit and add that the search for a replacement is already underway. Ms Sundar’s plans for the future are still unclear, and her departure is the latest in a series of senior exits from Leo Burnett in the last four months.
