DDB Worldwide acquires adam&eve for merger with DDB UK to create adam&eve/DDB

DDB Worldwide announced that it has acquired adam&eve. The agency will merge within 1 month with DDB UK to create a new agency, adam&eve/DDB.

NEW DELHI: DDB Worldwide announced that it has acquired the London communications agency adam&eve. The agency will merge within one month with DDB UK to create a new agency, adam&eve/DDB.

adam&eve was launched in 2008 and has now grown in scale with billings exceeding £80 million. It has a client base which includes John Lewis, Heineken UK, Halifax, Diageo, Google and Phones 4U.

It will also be a hub for the DDB Global network bringing a combination of entrepreneurial energy and creative flair to international client opportunities.

DDB Worldwide President and CEO Chuck Brymer said, "Joining the two agencies will further strengthen our creative powerhouse in the London market and globally." DDB Worldwide is part of Omnicom Group Inc. (OMC)
