Radio Netherlands Worldwide to provide information on sexual health through Hindi, English websites

Mumbai: Radio Netherlands Worldwide (RNW), a multilingual multimedia broadcasting company based in the Netherlands recently joined hands with Family Planning Association of Indiato come together to provide information on sexual health through websites Lovematters.info in English and Lovematters.in in Hindi.

This partnership will work closely to provide reliable information to adolescents and young adults via the website and FPA India's reproductive health centres.

RNW claims that since launch many people have accessed information on sexual health through the site. There are also plans to "launch a campaign together which would involve a lot of offline events in terms of reaching out to people at

large. Also, as a part of this campaign, there are plans to launch a radio show to help people get more honest, open and non judgmental information on sexual health issues," said Vithika Yadav, hindi web editor, Love Matters.

The websites provides regular updates about developments in sexual health, talks about sexually transmitted diseases, birth control, pregnancy and other related matters. Love Matters is a RNW project funded by the Dutch Government. RNW also has a variety of other websites on news, music, environmental programmes and sustainable development.
