Tata Steel launches Pravesh Doors, wood finish steel doors for homes

KOLKATA: Tata Steel has launched Pravesh Doors, a steel door that has the looks of wood as part of its continuing efforts to provide individual home builders in semi-urban and rural markets with affordable steel solutions.

The product will initially be marketed as a pilot project in West Bengaland marketed through a network of 12 dealers in the districts of East & West Midnapore, Nadia, Murshidabad and North 24 Parganas. Following its success, a rollout on a national scale will follow in the months ahead.

Pravesh Doors, the latest addition to the Tata Steel brand portfolio, combines the strength of steel and the beauty of wood. It is made from all weather-proof steel and offers total security. It is virtually maintenance-free and is termite proof and fire resistant, besides being environment friendly and recyclable.

While it offers a realistic and natural wood finish look,customers can choose from various options that are available, such as Embossed Wood Finish, Plain Wood Finish and Steel Finish within an affordable price range. The initiative was launched by Atrayee Sarkar, chief of marketing & sales, branded products, retail & solutions, Tata Steel.
