Jai Raj Ispat to set up Rs 3,000 cr steel plant in Telangana

A team of Jai Raj Ispat, led by its executive director Siddharth Jain, met the Telangana industries minister K. Taraka Rama Rao on Wednesday.

HYDERABAD: Jai Raj Ispat will set up a steel plant to make TMT bars in Telangana, involving an investment of Rs 3,000 crore, said a state government statement. The proposed plant will come up over 250 acres of land in Mahabubnagar district in two phases with a cumulative capacity of 10 lakh tons a year.

A team of Jai Raj Ispat, led by its executive director Siddharth Jain, met the Telangana industries minister K. Taraka Rama Rao on Wednesday, assuring employment to 1,200 persons directly and 3,500 indirectly.
