Dabur India on Thursday announced that Herjit S. Bhalla has joined the company as chief executive officer for its India business, effective April 23, 2026. He will report to Mohit Malhotra, who has been elevated to the role of whole-time director and global chief executive officer, the packaged goods maker said in an exchange filing on Thursday. Prior to this role, Bhalla was vice-president, Canada and global customers at confectionery maker Hershey Company.
ET had first reported Dabur’s plan to hire Bhalla as chief executive officer and elevate Malhotra to a global role, in its January 28 edition.

Bhalla has had an over eight-year tenure at Hershey across roles in Canada, Asia-Pacific, West Asia and Africa, and in all, has spent more than two decades in roles at Metro Cash & Carry and Hindustan Unilever.
The company, which makes Real juices and Vatika shampoo, earlier said in a business update that it expects consolidated revenue to grow in mid-single digits for the quarter ended March 2026, adding that its India business witnessed sequential recovery in demand during the quarter. Dabur had noted in its update that growth in the domestic market helped offset challenges in international markets, moreso in West Asia. Amid the ongoing US-Iran war, supply chains have been severely disrupted in the region and demand significantly impacted.
