Myntra is consolidating its Gurgaon-based satellite operations into its primary operations in Bengaluru, which has led to moving certain roles to the headquarter in south India, with relocation support and some layoffs with severance pay, outplacement services and extended insurance cover, according to sources familiar with the development.

The move is aimed at centralising teams and driving synergy at the Bengaluru headquarters, where the majority of the company’s cross-functional teams are based, in order to streamline internal processes and improve coordination, the sources said.

As part of the consolidation, certain roles will be integrated into larger teams based in Bengaluru, for which provisions are being made, while some roles will be phased out, the sources said. These changes are associated with approximately 50 roles at the Gurgaon satellite office and are limited to the Catalogue Operations team.

Myntra's relocation of employees and some layoffs are not due to any AI impact or performance-related issues, the sources said.

Flipkart-owned online fashion and beauty retailer Myntra reported a sharp rise in net profit for the financial year ended March 2025. Net profit jumped nearly 18 times to Rs 548 crore from Rs 31 crore in FY24, according to the company’s financial statements filed with the Registrar of Companies.

Operating revenue grew 18% to Rs 6,043 crore during the year. Expenses rose more slowly, which helped push up profits. Total expenses increased 12% to Rs 5,724 crore from Rs 5,123 crore a year earlier.
