London-based tech brand Nothing announced the opening of its first service centre in India on Monday to offer customer support and after-sales services. The service centre is all set to open in Bengaluru in August, the company said in a release.

Backed by Google Ventures, Nothing also revealed its expansion plans as it plans to launch five exclusive service centers in five cities by 2023. Further, it aims to establish 20 more exclusive service centers across cities in 2024.

“The launch of the upcoming Phone (2) on July 11 and opening of Exclusive Service Centers in August, caters to the growing community and demand for Nothing products in India,” the company said.


Nothing is also increasing its customer service team by 50% to ensure continued excellence in services and customer satisfaction, it added.

While the exclusive service centre will host service camps for Nothing customers periodically, it will also enable customers to buy accessories, care packs for accidental/ liquid damage, warranty upgrades packs among other things.

By the end of July, Nothing aims to expand its coverage of service centers from 230 to over 300 as it currently serves 19,000 pin codes across the country.

Nothing’s product portfolio includes ear (1), which has sold over 530,000 units to date, the company's product Phone (1) and the highly anticipated launch of Phone (2) on July 11, for which the pre-order passes have been sold out on Flipkart, its e-commerce partner.

Earlier on July 7, the consumer tech brand also unveiled the black variant of its Ear (2) earbuds in India.
