TATA AIG General Insurance Company appoints Amit Ganorkar as MD and CEO

General insurance provider TATA AIG General Insurance Company has appointed Amit Ganorkar its new managing director and chief executive officer, the company said in a statement on Friday.

Ganorkar succeeds Neelesh Garg, following the board of directors’ approval and has officially taken charge of the office as of January 1, 2025.

Ganorkar brings over two decades of experience in the general insurance industry, across key areas such as sales and distribution, product development, marketing, operations, and technology. In his previous role, he served as the Managing Director of Royal Sundaram General Insurance before which he was the Chief Operating Officer at TATA AIG.
