ICICI Lombard ties up with Healthspring in group health space

ICICI Lombard today said it has entered into a partnership with healthcare chain Healthspring for group health insurance.

MUMBAI: Private sector general insurer ICICI Lombard today said it has entered into a partnership with healthcare chain Healthspring for group health insurance.

As per this partnership, group insurance clients will be able to avail emergency care for patients through Healthspring's network along with other services.

"Focusing on the wellness and preventive approach, this partnership will facilitate healthcare services as well as provide comprehensive health insurance to corporate customers," Chief - Underwriting and Claims of ICICI Lombard, Sanjay Datta, said.

ICICI Lombard is the joint venture between ICICI Bank and Canada based Fairfax Financial Holdings with the former holding majority stake.

By the end of last financial year, the general insurer had a gross written premium of Rs 6,420 crore.
