In relief to customers, Maruti Suzuki extends services, warranty period till June 30, 2020

In a regulatory filing, the company announced that for vehicles whose services, warranty and extra warranty will expire between March 15,2020 to April 30,2020, an extension is being given till June 30,2020.

In a relief for its customers, India's largest carmaker Maruti Suzuki today announced extension of service, warranty and extended warranty as the country grapples with the deadly coronavirus pandemic and remains under a 21-day lockdown.

In a regulatory filing, the company announced that for vehicles whose services, warranty and extra warranty will expire between March 15,2020 to April 30,2020, an extension is being given till June 30,2020.

"For customer vehicles, whose free service, warranty and extended warranty are scheduled to end in the period from March 15, 2020 to April 30, 2020 are now being extended up to June 30, 2020," the company said.


The customers can contact the call centre 24x7 at at 1800-102-1800 (ARENA)1800-102-6392 (NEXA) for all their queries.

The carmaker has also entered into an agreement with AgVa healthcare for ramping up the production of ventilators, a critical medical equipment needed in serious cases of Covid-19 infection.

The company will also help in manufacturing of masks and protective clothing to fight the coronavirus pandemic.
