Sensex starts on a muted note, Nifty holds above 8700
The S&P BSE Sensex started on a muted note in morning trade on Friday, led by losses in HDFC, ICICI Bank, Infosys, ITC, and Maruti Suzuki.The Nifty50 which started on a flat note was still trading above its crucial support level of 8700, weighed down by losses in banks, auto and IT stocks.
