Sensex rallies over 600 points as RBI slashes repo rate by 25 bps
The S&P BSE Sensex rallied as much as 601 points in trade, after the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), in a surprise move reduced the policy repo rate under the liquidity adjustment facility (LAF) by 25 basis points, from 8.0 percent to 7.75 percent.
