Rs 50K crore to be spent on irrigation: Jaitley
Announcing a slew of decisions taken by the Union Cabinet on farm issues, Jaitley said that the PM will chair the national steering committee on irrigation. Jaitley said that 50,000 cr would be spent over five years on the Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchai Yojana.
