Mumbai firm launches seaplane service
India's first seaplane service from the mainland was launched today, a move which is likely to boost tourism, especially in coastal areas. A private firm MEHAIR in association with MTDC launched the service between Mumbai and Aamby Valley near Lonavala, about 120 km from here.
