Greek banks to remain shut till July 6

The financially troubled country's creditors have refused further emergency funds as Greece faces a Tuesday deadline for debt repayments to the International Monetary Fund. The crisis escalated after Greek PM Alexis Tsipras called a referendum on July 5 on a possible bailout deal, saying the conditions put by the creditors will lead to more pain for the country.
