DBT helped cut subsidised LPG sale by 25%: CEA
Speaking on taxation and fuel subsidies, the government’s Chief Economic Advisor Arvind Subramanian says that direct subsidy will lead to a more efficient market in the country. Subramanian also said that schemes like direct benefit transfer and Jan Dhan will lead to fiscal savings for the government.
