6-month fiscal deficit nears 83% of FY15 estimate
Fiscal deficit touched 82.6 per cent of the Budget Estimates for 2014-15 to cross Rs 4.38 lakh crore at the end of September. This makes it extremely difficult for the government to meet its target of curtailing deficit to 4.1% of GDP.
