Finance ministry opposes Tata Tele buyback?
Finance ministry has writeen to RBI for a re-assessment of Tata group's buyback in Tele buyback in Tata Tele, told sources. The finance ministry believes that if Tata group is allowed to go ahead with this buyback at 60% premium over the fair price valuation then it will set a wrong precedent for all such future transactions.
