The actor is also the brand ambassador for Punjab's coronavirus vaccination programme.

Bollywood actor Sonu Sood tested positive for coronavirus on Saturday 10 days after receiving his first dose of vaccination. The actor, who showed his altruistic side by helping the country's migrants reach their home states during the nationwide lockdown last year, is currently under quarantine

The 47-year-old actor, who had received the first dose of the coronavirus vaccine on April 7, was recently made the brand ambassador for Punjab's coronavirus vaccination programme.

Sood had also met Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh, on April 10.



The ' Dabangg' star assured his 6 million followers on Twitter that he will continue to help people and solve their problems virtually. "Remember, I'm always there for you all," he wrote.


Sood isn't the only one to get the infection after getting his first dose of vaccine. Actor Paresh Rawal was one of the first celebrities to contract Covid after his first jab.

Earlier, Alia Bhatt, Akshay Kumar, Sachin Tendulkar, Aamir Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal, Bhumi Pednekar, Kartik Aryan, Bappi Lahiri, Sanjay Leela Bansali and among others, had also contracted the infection.
