Nielsen's Shopper Trends Study sheds light on the evolution of the Indian shopper over the last seven years. The annual study takes place across 52 countries to understand shopper attitudes and behaviour.


In India, Shopper Trends is conducted in 14 cities including Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, Kolkata, Banagalore, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad and Pune.

Respondents include household influencers between the ages 18 and 65 in SEC A, B and C. Over 3,300 respondents were interviewed for the 2012 Shopper Trends Study.
