Jalukbari Assembly constituency, located in the western part of Guwahati, is one of the most high-profile seats in Assam. Known for its mix of urban and semi-urban areas, the constituency has gained statewide attention largely due to the presence of Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, who represents the seat.
