Trade analyst Taran Adarsh has stepped in to clear the air. Addressing the growing chatter, he stated on Instagram that reports claiming the trailer would be unveiled on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, are not true. According to him, a section of the media circulated the information despite there being no official confirmation from the makers.

Adarsh further clarified that the production house has not made any announcement regarding a trailer launch date. He revealed that he personally checked with Jio Studios, who confirmed that they will issue an official statement when they are ready to release the trailer. Until then, fans will have to wait for a formal update instead of relying on speculation.

The sequel, officially titled Dhurandhar: The Revenge, is directed by Aditya Dhar and serves as a direct continuation of the 2025 hit. The story resumes immediately after the events of the first film and once again follows Jaskirat Singh Rangi, an undercover Indian intelligence agent operating under the alias Hamza Ali Mazari.

The film boasts a star-studded cast led by Ranveer Singh in the central role. He is joined by Sanjay Dutt, R. Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Sara Arjun, Akshaye Khanna, and Emraan Hashmi. With such a powerful ensemble and the promise of high-stakes espionage drama, expectations are understandably sky-high.
