Why does Salman Khan live in a 1 BHK?
Despite being one of the biggest names in Indian cinema and having an estimated net worth of Rs 2,900 crore, according to the Forbes 2025 report, the actor revealed that he continues to stay in a one-bedroom apartment in Mumbai. Speaking candidly, Salman said, “I still live in a 1 BHK apartment, and that is ok for me.” His honest confession was met with loud applause, as many admired his grounded attitude.Wearing a grey blazer with a maroon T-shirt and jeans, Salman looked comfortable and at ease while speaking with the host. The discussion moved towards fame, money and the expectations that come with being a superstar. Rather than talking about luxury, he said he values comfort and familiarity more, making it clear that upgrading to a bigger house has never really mattered to him. He went on to add, “I have everything I need. A bigger house does not change who you are or how you sleep at night.” With this, Salman emphasised that inner peace and personal comfort mean much more to him than showing off wealth.
On Salman Khan's professional front
According to Forbes, Salman Khan reportedly charges between Rs 100 crore and Rs 150 crore per film. A major part of his income also comes from hosting Bigg Boss, which adds substantially to his overall wealth. Like Shah Rukh Khan, Salman is not just an actor but also a producer. He runs his own production company, Salman Khan Films (SKF), which has backed successful movies such as Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Chillar Party. Apart from films, he also owns the popular clothing brand Being Human.Battle of Galwan is produced by Salma Khan under Salman Khan Films and directed by Apoorva Lakhia. The movie focuses on bravery, strength and emotional struggles, with Chitrangda Singh playing an important role alongside Salman Khan.
The film’s new song, Main Hoon, comes after the success of Matrubhumi, which crossed 50 million views and showed strong audience interest in the soundtrack. While the earlier track highlighted patriotic emotions, the latest song turns attention to the emotional pain and sacrifices faced by families waiting back home.
