Maharaja Club, Air India’s travel and lifestyle programme, allows members to earn Maharaja Points across Air India, Air India Express, Star Alliance partner airlines and 100+ travel, hospitality, retail, lifestyle and financial services partners.

Members of the Maharaja Club can exchange their Maharaja points for award flights for as little as 1,500 points on Air India Express and 2,500 points on Air India. Additionally, members can utilise points to upgrade their cabins for as little as 4,500 points, making premium travel more accessible.

The programme has also simplified the process of claiming missing points from Air India flights through boarding pass uploads, ensuring that eligible journeys are credited more easily.

Priority check-in, boarding and connections, excess luggage allowances, free seat selection, Fly Prior perks, cabin upgrade coupons, and waivers of change and cancellation fees are additional benefits available to Maharaja Club members, depending on their tier. To get rewards faster, members can create a Family Pool and aggregate Maharaja Points earned by qualified family members into a single account. Pooling points enables families to optimise the value of every trip and everyday earning opportunity, whether they are saving for a family vacation, an award flight, or a cabin upgrade.

Maharaja Club has introduced several changes over the past year to give members more ways to earn and use their points, including the ability to earn and redeem Maharaja Points on Air India Express, lower flight thresholds for tier progression, reduced redemption requirements on select award flights and cabin upgrades, more flexible award ticket policies and an expanded partner network.
