If no one wins Monday night's jackpot, the prize will roll over again and grow even larger.
No one matched all six numbers in Saturday night's Powerball drawing, causing the jackpot to climb once again. The estimated top prize for the next drawing on Monday, August 3, now stands at $748 million, offering lottery players another shot at one of the biggest jackpots of the year. The lucky winner will have two payout options. They can choose the full $748 million annuity, paid in annual installments over 30 years, or take a lump-sum cash option of about $325.1 million before federal taxes and any applicable state taxes.

Although the prize continues to grow, the odds of winning the Powerball jackpot remain extremely slim. Players have roughly a 1 in 292.2 million chance of matching all six winning numbers. Powerball tickets are sold in 45 states, as well as Washington, DC, Puerto Rico, and the US Virgin Islands.

Powerball has already crowned several jackpot winners in 2026. A ticket sold in North Carolina won $209.3 million in January, followed by a $250.8 million jackpot winner in Arkansas in March. Another lucky player in Delaware claimed a $231 million jackpot in April. In addition to these massive prizes, dozens of players have won $1 million or more by matching five numbers throughout the year.

If no one wins Monday night's jackpot, the prize will roll over again and grow even larger. As the jackpot rises, ticket sales typically increase, with millions of hopeful players dreaming of becoming Powerball's next multimillionaire - or possibly the next lottery billionaire if the grand prize continues to climb.
